Fortnightly Progress - 15th December

Sorry for the silence. 

Accentuating the positive this is the first week since the last fortnightly that I haven't had to go to the hospital for my eyes at least once. Record was four times in one week which is basically a commute at that point. Currently on three different kind of eye drops, one I'm taking hourly which is fun, and I'm seeing the proper specialists in mid Jan to hopefully sort this out for good. 

Thankfully eyes are better than they were, still a struggle, but I can make some progress at last thanks to heavy use of windows screen magnifier being a genuinely handy accessibility tool. 

Very unhappy the update has now dragged into December like I really didn't want. It's slow, deeply awkward going and I'm hoping I can get it to you before I need to go away for a week to see family. Well seeing them to a certain extent anyway.

Aware that I also owe you a commission poll for November. That will go up before I leave and that will run to the end of the month. Then I'll do the December one on the first, run that for ten days, and then it'll be back to the regular schedule. I'll run both as if I was still at the 1750 tier. Ideally next year I can back get up to the kind of consistent progress that will justify persuading those of you who have left to reconsider. I'm seriously grateful that things haven't collapsed even further than they have.

In terms of art there's been no progress on any of the outstanding commissions. I have managed to talk to two of the longer awaited ones in They Choose You and Dominance Training to let them know why I didn't been getting onto them both since them promising me to show some progress in November. While both sympathised, neither told me when to expect the actual art, so that was aggravating Still got a bonus comm I've been holding off on posting and that will go up after the update. 

In regard to streaming and the Twine development the only way I'm not doing the New Year's Eve stream is if my broadband gets cut off or my pc turns into an icecube or something. Would really seriously get me down to not do that like I do every year, as it's always a good time, and I think I've worked out a solution so I can see what I'm doing. Might even be better for the content of the stream as unless you're watching in full screen (which I doubt many do*) the text is going to be unreadable usually so having that bit be big might make it more followable. My plan is to use that as the start of going back to the regular Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday schedule from then on.
