Fortnightly Progress - 15th April

• No Haven

As of today it's in testing! Specifically the update I mean. So that will be out if everything goes swimmingly tomorrow, with off chance based on increasing number of Disasters for Saturday or Sunday. 

There are however... oof, six big chunks that haven't been entirely finished yet, and so won't be in there just yet. Three of them for patrons, two assignments for previous commissions that I said I'd do this update, and the Tavern/Town touch up from Direction Polling. So what's going to happen is, not counting critical OMG everything is broken must sort now ones, first hotfix by the end of next week will have the first half with promised the three chunks of patron content, and then there will be another one by the end of the following week to that with the rest of what's missing from the update. After that it'll be a possible extra hotfix if needed, the public release, and then onto 0.96. 

Patch notes are already at a decent size so even without those chunks so there should be plenty to be getting on with. 

• The No Haven Conversion / Picarto Streams

A massive, massive win! I managed to get the first player character ever through quick start in the twine version which I am incredibly chuffed about. Morraze Warhorn you Felborn Orc* beauty you. Though admittedly she actually had Secretly Submissive - Leader - Brutal - Strong - Aggressive rather than beautiful (btf).

(* yes I know that's not actually a thing, but it's still really cool it's got that far okay :D )

Another massive win is I worked out how to use Twee which should speed things up by a lot as I can do everything in a text editor if I want rather than messing around with the sloooow ass boxes in Twine proper. You do not want to know how much time I wasted in WR just trying to navigate around the program. 

• Commissions

Yikes to the max. So y'know how I was comiserating about the fragility and general misfortune of artists last time? Somehow that wasn't actually the end of the litany of bad luck and general misery. 

But hey ho accentuate that silver lining as due to the art-pocolypse for the first time in ages I've actually been talking to some new artists. Two specifically, and another who I used just the once a good way back and might as well be new. 

November + December Commission Poll - Word in your Ear: No activity.

January + February Commission Poll - Profane Ritual: Seen sketches. I love it. Very, very sexyscary. 

January + February Commission Poll -Fending off Naughty Humans (actual name tba): No activity. Still think the sketch was fricking amazing.

The Veil: Yay, work has resumed and I've been getting (mostly) daily updates. Looking dang sweet.

Alternative March Commission Poll: No surprises that Endurance Training crushed it. First artist I contacted is scared by the concept of abs so my current plan is to see which of the two artists I'm trying finish first.  Speaking of those...

For Want of a Hoe: Also known as the discord assignment one. That's started off very nicely and today I got the finished sketch. 

Other new artist one is one of those patron managed by me ones. However it is for a pair of assignments that you see a lot, so it's really great that it's getting proper art.
