Fortnightly Progress - 4th March

Man, February is way too short of a month. They really should sort that out or something. 

• No Haven

To quote a patron on my discord I have what could be terms 'an embarrassment of riches', or in other words I've got absolutely loads to get done and how. 

Lots and lots and lots to be getting on with for 0.95 so just a case of doing it all. 

Been working this week on a new encampment role for one of the patron requests for this update. You can get an idea of what might that involve with some really fantastic patron submitted art that you can find on the pixiv and twitter. Thanks for the permission to do that.

Looking further ahead I forgot to mention on one of these how the last Direction polling did for 0.96.  What won was the fel tainted changes which will involve making the trait more scalable in terms of the penalty so it's based on how many corruptions you have. One would be negligable as they'd be considered as more unfortunate than suspicious, a couple to get to the existing implementaion. and then several or the more extreme ones like the forehead branding would have a higher effect than they do now.

• The No Haven Conversion / Picarto Streams

Still not getting as many of these done as I'd like. However some is better than none, and I managed to get three done last week. Should be another one tonight dependent on 0.95 progress for the  day. 

Finished the new way of selecting assignments I had to entirely redo for Twine compared to RAGS. I've also future proofed it by also including all the new assignments since I did the version I started the conversion on. 

What my plan is now is to specifically import everything needed for a Quick Start. Idea there being that will let me make sure the basics work with generating everything, having a generated encampment to finish off the UI to ensure that all works correctly, and also obviously that has less choice menus needed so it should be easier to get through everything without issues. 

• Commissions

November + December Commission Poll - Word in your Ear: I've seen a couple of sketches and looks like a solid start to me. 

November - Asanei Duellist: Got done and I really like how it came out. Really nice to get something from Joixxx after such a long gap. 

The Veil: Alas, did not make it in for the Year of the Rat due to understandable and unfortunate circumstances. First part is basically done. Second is about halfway I reckon? Recently finalized the look, and had some base colours. 

January Commission Poll: Marshlands Lamia has started work. Saw a sketch yesterday and she's already looking suitably fierce.

The next Murr one which turned out to be the Centaurs: Came out and I love them. The nightmare inspired Succubus one especially. I'll see if I can get them in the next update as playable starts along with making it so succubi, demi-angels, and fallen can (rarely) come in the centaur varieties.

January + February Commission Poll: Profane Ritual + Fending off Naughty Humans won with 40 fending off Some Enchanted Nightmare and Listening to Whispers + Coastal Caves + Mistress of Torments that both got 32. 

For those that didn't see the poll the one that won will involve:

A Savage Orc who having got frustrated about carrying around her freshly fucked booty without anyone caring has turned to the profane side to become a whorelock for this one. Looking suitably menacing and lots of blue paint even in her new line of work, as she sits on a unlucky Draenei's face who has been bound onto a ritual circle and is getting lots of instruction on how to best use her tongue. For the background they'd be surrounded by many anonymous hooded figures some of which would be showing signs of corruption like horns, or tentacles where arms should be (Could also being used as the slaver examine)

Involving a Human Fancy mainly as I'd like to have another go at nailing their look given as good as Road Tax Collection and To Hunt a Paladin their description I gave didn't really make it into the final piece. Sure there's the lovely one with the Shadow Outcast, but given she's getting boinked by tentacles that's a bit specific for an examine so this would be way more dominant looking. She'd have her own hair blowing in the wind highlights by the sun behind her, would be holding a big leather whip in one hand, as she has holds the hair of a just captured, and gagged, dark haired and pale skinned Dark Elf. (Could also being used as the slaver examine)

So that means with the Savage Orc at last making it through the polls that will be every single race with commissioned art which is so dang neat. Next up will be ensuring that there's one for each gender that hasn't got represented yet so far along with having ones in both dominant and submissive roles. I did actually have another Savage Orc being done as a bonus commission but alas that's been in so very close to being done hiatus for a long time now so if you see that before this one I'll be amazed.
