Fortnightly Progress - 17th October

Quick one today so I can get back to testing. Release of the hotfix will be out either late today or sometime tomorrow unless there's some real disasters lurking that I haven't found yet.

No Haven

Ended up longer than I expected mainly due to realising I was really not happy with how one of the new elements was working. So I started over with it entirely and in the process ended up doing something I'd been meaning to do some way for awhile.

I'd been toying with ideas for a fatigue system but it was probably going to involve too much minutiae checking and/or would be overly punishing while not being that interesting. Woke up one morning and came with a much better system I think. It's also very expandable to a bunch of places as another potential outcome I can use for assignments for one example. Already used it to better represent the flighty natures of wisps, the enigmatic legion, and the attire gained from QAYL.

While I said this hotfix would be the other half of the update with how long the patch notes are now it might be more like 60-70%.

The No Haven Conversion

Down to 1,650 conditions so getting closer. Work continues on the Wednesday streams.

Commissions

Commission poll is in progress. Been an interesting one as all three polls currently look a lot different. Might use this to play with the values of each. Won't go silly like some others I've seen where there is little point to the lower tier polls but maybe a 2x or 3x value might be a worthwhile add.

July+August - Deep Mountains Slave Caravan, Watchtower, and Fake Herald of Paradise:

Fake Herald of Paradise is done and Slave Caravan is confirmed still for November.

Watchtower I've seen a sketch and should be out later this month.

September - Nymph and Wood Elf: Not seen the sketch yet, but I'm hoping it will be soon.

Bonus Commission - Oozes: It's done and on twitter especially it has crushed all that have come before it.

Bonus Commission - Halt Cathayan Caravan: Also done and will be in the hotfix.

Picarto

All of these will be at the usual time of 22:30 BST outside of the odd occasional one where I need to catch up and so start an hour earlier or change the planned day.

Ended up taking a week off. Just had to be done getting to where I am now with the hotfix.
