Fortnightly Progress - 21st March

Hotfix came out, and ended up needing to do another one as it worked out. Not what I planned, but I think the extra rebalance should help out a lot with the reputation adjustments. 

0.86 is coming next, which I'm working on now, and will include the Head Slave roll as voted on last time in the Direction Polling. It will also include the starting race bonus rework and massive expansion that came second in the last one of those. Mainly as I had some good ideas for it I think while working on the 0.85 hotfixes. 0.86 will also include the assignment with a bunch of roleplay options to provide a way to release slaves without having to risk the Whore Makers.  

Been doing the starting race bonus rework which is making decent progress. Rather than a simple gold or single assignment bonus every race and race sub type that you can start as, including the promoted and scenario slavers, will have their own variations of bonuses and penalties. The people on the discord have already seen a preview, but it's now even more complex than that spreadsheet with an additional set of columns and far more of them have been filled up. Aim for this is to aid that golden goal of replay variation, and should hopefully drive interest in some race options that have previously been overlooked before. 

This has been a great exercise for coming up with new world building ideas. As part of this some races are getting amendments to their trait packages, and so far the Ori'Nek, Akir, Marlsune, Kitsune, Lizardmen, Asanei, Drow, and Cathayan now all have expanded/rewored lore pages. It's also going to be a good groundwork when I add some inter-species or even a few cases of inter-gender animosities. 

There's also some new patron stuff coming in 0.86 in terms of new starts and uniques. 

• Commissions

Not sure what's going on with the Drider for scout the city. Past mid-March which was when it was due after being pushed back last time, but I have at least since the last time round seen some initial poses. Will keep you posted. 

Seduction of the Light is done and will be included with 0.86. Due to a bit of miscommunication I also got a usable alternate version which is going to be used for a new Akir start and female examine. 

Wrapped in Webs is on track for being done in the next couple of days. Based on the lines I've seen I'm really happy with how this one is going especially. It's a somewhat different interesting interpretation of the pitch I gave and I think the final piece is going to be a lot better than what I originally had in mind. 

The Alternative March Commission Poll has another seven days left to run, but I'd say it's a pretty foregone conclusion by this point. The Raid High Elven Dwelling one is waaay out in front and I can't see that changing anytime soon. 

Also had a bonus one came out for Board the Crossbones, and out of the three ones that Eladaer has done for me, I think it's by far the best. Nicely moody and ominous.

All of these will be at the usual time of 22:30 GMT outside of the odd occasional one where I need to catch up and so start an hour earlier. I've also being doing the odd Monday instead of Thursday one as circumstances have demanded.
