No Haven

As you may of noticed there wasn't an update yesterday. To put it lightly had a bit of a nightmare on Saturday where not just my current version decided to delete all the images and most of the objects, but the previous version I was working on as well, effectively taking with them all the work that I'd done on the new update.

Just about managed to salvage everything thankfully though it did set me back along with being one hell of a pain. Basic upshot is that outside of a reminder why I need to get off RAGS for good is that I'm aiming now to get the October update out on the 7th of this month. Still plan to do a November update if all goes well, so apologies, and I hope this one week delay isn't too much of a pain.

The Patreon

Couple of changes to highlight. There's now a new welcome message which I hope does a better job of pointing out the polls and answering some of the more common questions.

As it was asked about I've updated the $20 tier so if you want to play your own character in WR then that's now available as an option. What I'm thinking is this will involve having specific characteristics, outfits, and a custom perk specific to your character.

I've also added a new goal at $1,500. The process of commissions has got so much smoother compared to when I could only just bare to get it done every two months due to various bad experiences so I'm now down to get an additional one on the off alternate months. This will either be a single character or two busts.

Getting commissions done are important for several reasons, one of those is they give me a lot more freedom to add whatever I like to the games rather than being constrained by what is out there. While the amount of artwork is vast indeed, when you start looking for something more specific, even something you think there'd be lots of like to pick a recent example trying to find multiple draenei on a single person, the number of usable pieces can drop to less than the fingers on a single hand.

Whorelock's Revenge

Just got another hotfix out prior to this progress report. Ideally that should be the last one for awhile before I have the time to get round to the next two regions.

Commissions

True Angel came out which I personally think is absolutely phenomenal work. Hoped you liked it too, and will include her assignment in the November update.

Decided to take a chance on a new artist for the witch commission. Really glad I did as after transferring the funds I got a decent sketch in under an hour which trust me is borderline bloody miraculous. Seen a coloured sketch since and I really like how this one is going. Probably week or so for the full thing?

Arranged the wisp haunting assignment one yesterday. End of the month I'd hope for this one though this is very much in the beginning to talk things over stage.

HMV

With the No Haven delay I don't know when I'm going to get a chance to finish this. Will see how things go.

Picarto

The No Haven streaming RAGS test was a success! Just a case of having a full plan before going in, being careful of what I click on, and working on the more smaller contained bits of the game works perfectly.

So because of that and the delay November will be No Haven streaming month with every stream being dedicated to the development of the October and November updates.

Only exceptions will be disasters like last Saturday, or if I finish the work I have planned for the night and then I'll do some WR.

Also doing some alternate days from the usual for the next two weeks so will be doing some more earlier in the week ones.
