The Discord Assignment part 4
Added 2018-09-10 15:17:19 +0000 UTCFor those that missed the introduction of just what is going on with these the first part is here and the second part is here.
After the first week of incredibly close voting the four to go through for the second week of single choice voting are as follows:
Warped Architecture
An old rumour has come to your attention of a tower, once belonging to a revered archmage. She and her peers attempted an experiment with the realms of chaos, though their exact aim depends on who you are asking, since everyone has their own theories. Whatever the case may be, the experiment ended up with the tower and its occupants seemingly consumed by the fel, leaving a warped mirror inhabited by beings from a different realm (probably demons). Its remote location and frightening history help keep people far away. Surely there are some trinkets and baubles to find?
Thornspire
There are many peculiar things in the world, but one of the strangest is the Thornspire. Located halfway down the coast, it appears to be little more than a dilapidated foundation, the last vestige of a kingdom lost to time. But every so often the tide will draw back and reveal the true nature of the ruin. Despite having been sacked by most slaving bands in the land, every time the waters recede there are new treasures to be found, new rooms to explore, no two instances having quite the same layout. It has become something of a rite of passage for especially daring young people to spend the night there and return with their own part of the spire's bounty. Sadly, a fair few who do decide that a life of adventure is not for them and they go back to whatever farm they came from, never to be heard from again. Or that's probably what happens.
Lago’mae village
The remains of a long-abandoned Lago’mae village, what they left behind, and why they were forced or chose to move on.
Vessel from the Storm
A violent storm rages on the coast of the Dread Sea, and it's by no means a normal one. The air is filled with so much magic, your more gifted camp followers can't stop sneezing. Your sleep is disturbed by terrible dreams, but you can't remember what they were about: you just wake up horny, and more spooked than you'd like to admit.
As the sky eventually clears, your scouts go out exploring the coast, hoping to find some supplies lying around or grab some disoriented traveler who looks like they could be a nice addition to your ever-growing harem of slaves. But a surprise awaits them.
Just off the coast, close to the port town you usually go sell slaves at, sits an immense black vessel. It's bigger than anything you've ever seen floating on water, but a quick aerial survey shows that it's made of some kid of smooth stone, and appears to have been wrenched from the bottom of the sea, judging from the traces of underwater life still clinging to it.
The vessel seems completely empty, and who knows what kind of forgotten treasures lie inside it? It certainly appears to be the work of magic, and would make an easier target than the infamous Crossbones since there's no crew to be seen. A bad feeling nags at the back of your mind when you look at it, but you're sure it's nothing....time to take a closer look!
Thank you to everyone who has contributed and/or voted so far.
