The Discord Assignment part 3

For those that missed the introduction of just what is going with these the first part is here and the second part is here.

These have all come from the discord so thank you to everyone who contributed.

Presented in no particular order, and these were requested to be general starting themes that will later on be fleshed out into a proper assignment.

A remote and abandoned fort

A remote and abandoned fort has been claimed by a mysterious cult.
Who they are, what they are up to and how they are dealt with we can talk about if this ends up chosen.

Warped Architecture

An old rumour has come to your attention of a tower, once belonging to a revered archmage. She and her peers attempted an experiment with the realms of chaos, though their exact aim depends on who you are asking, since everyone has their own theories. Whatever the case may be, the experiment ended up with the tower and its occupants seemingly consumed by the fel, leaving a warped mirror inhabited by beings from a different realm (probably demons). Its remote location and frightening history help keep people far away. Surely there are some trinkets and baubles to find?

Sunken Lab of Asura

An old looted lab in a swamp that has sunken to its last spire. The entrance is a central tower diving deep into the Swamp near the Dreadsea Coast. The most expensive parts have all been taken, the research as well. A slow, radiating pulse of magic seems to come from the very stones and hidden areas within the lab, but the ancient and deteriorating structure is widely considered a waste of time and luck to enter.

Abandoned mansion

An unknown cult has moved in to an abandoned mansion, and is currently seeking 'offerings' for whatever rituals they are getting up to in there. Those who return seem to be unharmed... mostly. (Would prefer non-dangerous results that would allow (sub) slavers to be sent along)

Tricks and Traps

A landslide in the mountains has uncovered the entrance to a long abandoned Dwarven city. Treasure hunters of all races flock to this archeological trove, but it seems the guardians of this city are not as deceased as their former masters...

Thornspire

There are many peculiar things in the world, but one of the strangest is the Thornspire. Located halfway down the coast, it appears to be little more than a dilapidated foundation, the last vestige of a kingdom lost to time. But every so often the tide will draw back and reveal the true nature of the ruin. Despite having been sacked by most slaving bands in the land, every time the waters recede there are new treasures to be found, new rooms to explore, no two instances having quite the same layout. It has become something of a rite of passage for especially daring young people to spend the night there and return with their own part of the spire's bounty. Sadly, a fair few who do decide that a life of adventure is not for them and they go back to whatever farm they came from, never to be heard from again. Or that's probably what happens.

A Trip to the House on the Hill

There's a House on a Hill, it sits there undisturbed. Many have bought the house, the hill or sometimes both. They're gone now. The house and the hill are still there. It's a fancy house. There must be something there....

A Less Brief Foray

After the Brief Foray in the dungeons beneath the Deep Mountains it would be to explore an abandoned section that the denizens don't seem to venture into any more for 'reasons'.

Lago’mae village

The remains of a long-abandoned Lago’mae village, what they left behind, and why they were forced or chose to move on.

The Slab

The Slab hides the structure/ruins underground. I didn't want to impose my view so the structure could be anything desired. I like the idea of things only being found if you have the right traits or someone in party has them.

Vessel from the Storm

A violent storm rages on the coast of the Dread Sea, and it's by no means a normal one. The air is filled with so much magic, your more gifted camp followers can't stop sneezing. Your sleep is disturbed by terrible dreams, but you can't remember what they were about: you just wake up horny, and more spooked than you'd like to admit.
As the sky eventually clears, your scouts go out exploring the coast, hoping to find some supplies lying around or grab some disoriented traveler who looks like they could be a nice addition to your ever-growing harem of slaves. But a surprise awaits them.
Just off the coast, close to the port town you usually go sell slaves at, sits an immense black vessel. It's bigger than anything you've ever seen floating on water, but a quick aerial survey shows that it's made of some kid of smooth stone, and appears to have been wrenched from the bottom of the sea, judging from the traces of underwater life still clinging to it.
The vessel seems completely empty, and who knows what kind of forgotten treasures lie inside it? It certainly appears to be the work of magic, and would  make an easier target than the infamous Crossbones since there's no crew to be seen. A bad feeling nags at the back of your mind when you look at it, but you're sure it's nothing....time to take a closer look!

As we got a nice selection what we've agreed on is that unless there's a really blatant landslide winner next week we'll pick the top four of these to vote for again.

There's some really good stuff here so even if what you entered doesn't win then I'm sure I'll come back to at least some of these ideas to implement in some way at a future date.
