If you recognise the character yes that was deliberate and apparently she's been having a rather eventful existence though it's up for debate whether this happened before or after her last appearance.

...I've only just realised that the right assignment name for this one from the Ensnared Rose was Lesson in Futility. To be fair they both do include packages!
