Fortnightly Progress - 24th August

No preamble this time, just getting straight into it.

No Haven

Entirely finished the Biomancy overhaul with all the new options which as mentioned last time was a far, far bigger task and I'm relieved I've finally put it to bed. Seriously it was an utter pain that was almost up there with the end of day overhaul.

As part of this I've realised that I needed to make part of the description more modular, specifically the last part of the they've got coloured eyes, whatever hair, and then something. Wanted to make sure that you didn't give a slave the new second stage biomancy bimbo lips you didn't then lose them from say them being possessed. This also includes the Quick as You Like changes, the Into the Depths crit, Purity Lightspawn losing her Exc from Corrupted, managing to return after being lost while on Ample Distractions or Cheap and Cheerful, and several others.

In other work I've used some of what I've been learning with the Twine conversion work to improve how assignments are handled on the back end which theoretically should make them both quicker to do and easier to work with. As a nice bonus it also gets round the incredibly stupid way RAGS handles searching so yay on that.

I've also started the new assignments. All the new slave training ones has now been completely written and planned out along with working out all the traits for them and the various effects and what they can unlock. This includes Heal Slut training, Advanced Dominance training, the training to convert a Slave to a Slaver, and Endurance training.

Commissions

Must admit I was getting mildly concerned with that last update in regard to the outstanding Demi-Angel in bondage commission for Package Retrieval. Thankfully I've now seen some genuine progress with first a selection of draft poses and now a proper sketch which is looking great. Hopefully based on that you'll be seeing the final piece before the next one of these.

The current commissions poll still has two days left to run and is incredibly tight at the top. It's also been the most popular poll so far with 100 votes so that's all kinds of awesome, thank you.

Whorelock's Revenge

Realised I'd missed a bunch of timers last time when I did the initial conversion when I was trying to work out where the hell the Beastkin/Draenei areas had gone.

On the plus side as this was my second time doing the export from RAGS to Xml, convert it in Sublime, and then move it over to Twine work, so I've definitely made some improvements to the process.

Currently plugging my way through all the extra timers and includes getting ahead by converting some of the other later races as well.

I've also worked out a way to reasonably quickly convert the size of No Haven portraits to the Whorelock's Revenge ones. It's not going to be as easy as it would have been keeping them both in RAGS but transitioning from one to the other is something I'd like to do.

Picarto

Message received, no esports instead of the usual assortment of smut ever again. It was clearly a misjudgment and I'm sorry if you found it annoying. Thankfully I do seem to slowly be getting back up to the usual numbers and the page hit 30,000 views total which is impressively mental, doubly so with the views on average I get on the streams.

On the plus side I've updated the settings and the streams are looking so much better than they were before.

And now some predictions of upcoming streams till the next fortnightly progress. These are not set in stone like what happened yesterday so keep an eye on the tumblr announcements or just follow me on Picarto for notifications if you're interested in catching them. Time especially will usually be the time listed or up to an hour later. Also listed is the likelihood the stream will happen on that date outside of unforeseeable circumstances and what I will probably be working on.
