New Cruddin' Patreon Tiers ARE HERE!

The new Patreon tiers are here! Let's talk about 'em, what they contain and all that. These changes are still in their infancy, so if you have any feedback on stuff you'd want to see added or changed, let me know and I'll consider it! I'm not good at being brief, sorry!

New Tier 1: At $1, this tier is essentially what my Patreon had been up until this point. A lil' tip jar for folks that aren't interested in exclusive content but still want to support me to keep YouTube content coming. I mean hey, I won't complain if you support at higher tiers even if you don't want extra content, but this tier is there for that.

New Tier 2: At $5, this is the tier where you'll access all of the content. My Patreon posts, the new monthly hour long gameplay video, etc. I'd love to experiment with these posts to find out what works. Maybe lil' behind the scenes things, cat pictures, etc. If you have specific things you're interested in, let me know! For now, all I can promise is the monthly gameplay video though. We may expand regular content in the future, but I want to start small to make sure it doesn't deter too much from the public YouTube content first.

New Tier 3: At $10, you'll get to view the content as in the previous tier. However, you'll also get to vote on a monthly poll to decide what gets played during that monthly gameplay video! Please note that Tier 4 (the next tier) will get to decide WHAT goes on the poll, and this Tier 3 gets to vote among those options. Hypothetically if there's only 1 Tier 4 supporter, they'd get to choose the 1 option on the poll so a vote would be pointless, so heads up there.  I may eventually experiment with doing these things 2x a week or even every week, but I want to make sure I start small, so just once a month for now. On top of the voting reward, your name will show up at the end of my videos! Some videos are recorded in advanced, so it may be a bit delayed before your name shows, but we'll make it work. :)

New Tier 4: At $15, you'll get all the previous stuff. But, you get to decide what actually goes on the poll for the monthly gameplay vote! Every month you'll get to pick a game, and it'll show up for the vote. You can pick nearly any game (yes, even Bubsy 3D) or even hacks, challenges, etc. Zelda Randomizers, Pokemon Challenges, me awkwardly live translating Japanese Pokemon Green, a specific character in For Glory on Smash Bros., Mario Maker stuff, you decide! The only games I will veto are games that are off-brand (super mature), or things I run into technical problems with recording. This tier is limited to just 15 people at the time of writing, as Patreon's polls are limited to 20 options and I feel like the poll would already be so bloated at that point. But heck, if only 1 person supports at this tier we get to skip the vote and you just pick the game directly. If 0 people support at this tier I'll select a few games myself for a vote, just so there's still something. Things are subject to change here because I simply can't know how things will play out. What happens if I end up moving to more than 1x a month? We'll talk about it, but we'd probably still just do 1 poll and I'd just play the top 2 voted games or something. What happens if you support for a super long time and no one ever votes on your option? Right now, I'm not sure, no promises. But, if you've been supporting for like a year at this tier and you keep asking for the same game and no one votes on it, we'll talk and try to work something out. Oh, this tier also gets your name at the end of my videos in fancy ORANGE text!

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this! The first monthly video I hope to get up in May. I can't give an exact timeline of when the poll and all this will happen, because well no one is at these tiers yet. I need to see how things play out. I'll update you guys on a timeline as soon as I see how things go here and I can work that out.
