Extended Writing Update
Added 2025-04-27 21:15:47 +0000 UTCIt's the end of the month, which means I'm working away to get the demo ready for launch. I finished up the Leon and Tiane scenes in chapter one, restructured the previous scene where everyone's together at the den, and tweaked some dialogue in the final chapter one scene with one of the people you can question (since the new scenes answer some of what you can ask there). All in all it's a pretty big restructuring, and I think the chapter is much improved by it.
For new chapter content, I've been in a competition with myself to see whether I can get us to the point where we meet up with a certain someone :) I fleshed out a fight scene today and did some interesting stuff with the magic. I'm also introducing the head of Den Luana in this update. She's pretty cool, and kind of Nakon's polar opposite, which is so much fun for me. They both have a lot of respect for each other and I love dynamics like that, where two people are basically staring at each other like 'this is how you live? really? 🤨' but somehow also think super highly of each other.
I'm curious to see what people think of the new environment as we get more into it. This update will give a little taste of the area, and eventually we'll sink our teeth into it with the dates - though those will come later, probably around chapter 5 or 6.
