Status Report

Hey, everyone!

It's been a little while since I've had something to share, but I have everything I need to finish done (except some writing), and I figured this would be a good time to share information about what I've been working on and what you can expect.

I took a little break from the Batson/Alex story to make something a little more spicy and dirty, in contrast to the previous comic which was meant to be more of a suspenseful and emotional story from the character's POV.

It took a little longer than I'd have liked to get all of my renders going, but there's a lot of design work to a new comic and my tech's getting a little outdated to handle some of the things I'd like to do, so it comes with a lot of trial and error. But the good news is that all of my art is finished for this story, and I'll begin writing it tonight.

Because it's an introductory chapter it's going to land around 130-140 pages when I'm finished, but following chapters will hopefully be smaller and a little quicker to arrive than this one.

I don't want to give too much away about it other than I think fans of my earlier stories are going to really like it. I needed something to balance around the deeper storytelling that comes with my Batson comic, and I'm really excited to share this one with you.

I also don't want to give an ETA because that's bitten me in the butt a lot in the past. I never know if I'll like the way I write a character or if I need to revise it, or if I'll need additional images... But I will be working on this consistently until it's released.

Once it's done, I'll likely do a second chapter before I go back to Batson, because I have that all planned out as well and I can't wait to begin working on it.

For the foreseeable future these will likely be the two comics I work on until one's completed. I'm sorry if you're waiting for something else, but this is where my passion is right now and I'd much rather provide you projects that are made from the soul than try to figure something out for a story I'm not currently invested in.

I wish I could share more about this, but I don't know how to do so without spoiling it. So hang in there and I'll have something in your hands soon.
