Where some incomplete stories stand

I want to provide an update to something that's been on my mind a bit lately, and that's my unresolved stories.

Specifically Catraya, but others like it that collected dust over the years I've been doing this.

At some point when I was doing Fates and Fantasies, which I discontinued due to seeming lack of interest, I realized that I lost my ability to work with the older models. The newer characters you see in my stories are so vastly different in how they work mechanically, that I lost all of the tricks I used to get poses and attachments to fit correctly. This is why I revamped Dan's Distortion. Otherwise it would've fallen into the "I can't do this anymore" bin.

I certainly could take the time to retrain myself, but I worry that would only set me back further on other things. And creating Catraya at this point would require me to recreate so many new characters that looked close enough to the old ones that I don't really see the benefit of doing all of that.

I'm thinking about doing a mostly written story at some point rather than a comic. A novella that closes all of the loose ends I left in Roommate from hell, which Catraya was designed to do, while also revisiting the characters from Black Magic a few years later in their life. I still very much want to tell this story, but I just wanted to share that it likely won't be in comic format.

Other things, like Catching Chaos, may be revamped at some point like I did with Sentai Smut (which will continue after I get some of my other things out).

I also do plan to continue the Anniversary Gift world later this year, and I already have the remade models ready to go. :)
