PIN CLUB IS HAPPENING!

400 patrons means I’ll be opening a pin club! I’ve gotten so many questions about the specifics so I’ll try to answer them here!
Pin club will be a monthly enamel pin mailed to you every month, it will include the sticker that month but not the print, I’ll be making a separate combo club for people who want both the pin + the print.
I may also need to make separate tiers for domestic vs. international. Unlike stickers or prints I cannot mail pins via an envelope which means I have to purchase a shipping label for your package and international shipping is, unfortunately, very expensive. I’m hoping some day I’ll be shipping at a high enough volume that I can get the discounted bulk rates that companies get but for now I’m just one small person with no control over the shipping cost. It’s a bummer and I hate it but there’s nothing I can do.
It may take me a bit of time to launch the tier because I need to find a manufacturer I like. The ones I’ve gone through in the past I haven’t been a fan of as they’ve mangled entire batches of pins and done nothing to fix it but getting it running will be my main focus over the next month.
What kind of pins do you guys like? Do you prefer gold or silver pins? People or animals? Large or small pins? Let me know! I’m very excited!

I love all enamel pins! Though, I don’t have any people as pins really... only animals and random things! It would be a lovely addition!!! <3

2020-03-24 23:11:37 +0000 UTCOh this is exciting! I love any style/size pin if it “speaks” to me. :)p Once you find a manufacturer that you like you should look into,glitter, rainbow metal, charms and stained glass effect, I bet you could make some pretty epic pieces!

Unfortunately I guess I won't be able to pledge to the pin tier, since I'm living in EU and as soon as the ordered item + shipping is over 20 € you have to pay customs and an advance fee for the delivery service and they are pretty insane. I once bought a ~40 $ wallet from the US and had to additionally pay almost 30 $ to customs and FedEx. But I hope lots and lots people will support your pin tier, even if I'm not able to do so :) ♥

I agree with someone above that dangles and chains and flippy hinges and diamonds don't pique my interest in a pin, I like simplicity! People for sure are my preference but then again you design some pretty cute animals so I'm down to see what you'd make :>

Size 1.5” is pretty standard, above it will be pretty big for those who prefer smaller pins and below that will be small for those who like big pins haha!!! (I’m a fan of 1.25” though). Gold or silver will have to depend on color scheme. Even rose gold may be something to explore!
2020-02-13 01:02:50 +0000 UTCI generally like gold for most colored pins as it is more eye catching, but of course silver will look best if it is black and white or neutral colors. Small to medium sized pins are usually best because then it is easier to store more on a bag/lanyard/etc, but a large pin every once in a while would be nice too 😁

Though I do really love axolotl's and sea life based creations, lmao. As for the gold/silver topic- I prefer silver, since I think the main spotlight is the creation put on it. Gold is a bit too much in my opinion, and it all depends on what creation is put on to that pin. Maybe it's an idea for the future though, I did like a comment speaking about the rose gold. I dunno, it is a lot so I recommend this maybe like a special pin you could put for your shop and it'll cost more

2020-02-12 21:03:33 +0000 UTCAlso if you need pin advise the pin manufacturer scams and alerts fb group is very helpful, if you’re interested in knowing, another patreon pin club I’m pledged to does one pin for $16 USD and two pins (variant dependent) for $23-25 for international, Domestic (US) she charges $13 USD for one pin and $23-25 for two pins (again variant dependent). I’m so excited to see what you come up with 💗💗
2020-02-12 20:54:21 +0000 UTCI really prefer silver and I've seen some rose gold ones that were very pretty, but I think that's probably more? I'm honestly not sure. I like medium pins? I know some seem overly large but if they're too tiny details seem to lack. I just know your pins will be beautiful with whatever you go with! I will do my best to save and be apart of the international teir! (As long as I can but- I can always switch for a few months while I save back up!) 💓 Oh! And the only thing I have against Gold pins is that it seems to be super common! But you do whatever! :3 I can't choose between people or animals, both, but slightly leaning towards animals cause I love them so very much! Congratulations by the way!!! ✨

I tend to like humans more but I have a soft spot for jakalopes and cats. But I really, really don't like pins that spin/move, flip open, and the ones with chains 😣

So I can add a lot of em’ on my backpack. ❤️ Big pins are good here and there, don’t get me wrong. Especially depending on the designs and mixing them with the small pins! But, I do love my small pins a lot. ❤️ I also prefer people.. ❤️
