Chiaki is from the second game in the series Danganronpa, an interactive visual novel series that has its share of ardent fans. I’ve played a little bit of the first one, but not the second. Chiaki is so alluring however, that I might have to change that.
In any case, Chiaki is having a little alone time in the cafeteria here. But be quiet, because she is unaware that anyone can see her, especially not Monomi, the magical bunny creature behind her (don’t ask me to explain it. Things get…complicated).
Anyways, I’m pretty happy with this one. I combined a thicker outline with a soft edge for nice weighty punch around the character, and I think I’ve got my cell shading technique pretty dialed in as well.
Chiaki is so cute that I can’t stop staring. Don’t you think so too?
