If it works, the eye should flow from the moment of the slap down into Sharlene's speech balloon directly below it, through the character's eyes, and then down into Marvin's "FINE!", all the way to the floor, and then back up to the insert panel.
It's always risky to ask the reader to zig-zag through a page layout like this, but I think I've figured out a way to make it work - at least when needed. In this case, I wanted to keep the characters on their respective sides in the engagement. Guiding the reader through the page is a tricky thing to do, but it makes reading the page more fun if you can pull it off.

The power panel at the bottom though with Marvin's closeup and the cracked letters on the ground is chef's kiss. The action in this has just been going up and up and up and now we're at final showdown. Whew, blowing us away with the panels here, man. Haha fantastic work as always. Hope you're well btw.
