Hot Shit High Ch 2, Page 7
Added 2018-09-29 19:49:46 +0000 UTCPage 7 is up! Fun fact: this page was mostly improvised... The script called for this scene to be one page, but I decided that this moment needed a little more space, so the shower scene will last for two pages instead one. This brief setup will also give the following page a little more context.
I made the choice to handle the opening shot of this scene with Sharlene putting her outfit away in her locker and walking over to the shower in one continuous shot split into three panels. I wasn't sure if this sequence would work the way I wanted it to but I think it does. I also intentionally decided to leave to leave the first four panels silent - meaning no dialog, sound effects, or narration. Many writers love to fill every panel with something to read, but sometimes silence can speak more than words. There is power in the silent scene, so I thought I'd give it a shot and keep this page brief in thoughts... After all, there is plenty to look at here.

In some cases certain people may feel shy, or wish to remain anonymous so they can keep their interests from friends and family. In other cases it may be because certain artists wish to separate their regular work from their erotic work. For a long time creating erotic art could put your career in jeopardy. Many companies wouldn't hire you if they knew you made erotic art on the side. I don't know if that's still a big concern today with erotic art becoming more frequent and more legitimate, but I'm sure it's still an issue for some. I was never really concerned with these issues however. I even debated using my real name before I started. I chose a pseudonym because I wanted to have an easily recognizable name that people would remember. Something flashy, and simple. So Erotibot was born. However, I don't mind if people know my name - I'm Nathan, and everyone who knows me calls me by my name. I don't mind if anyone here does the same either.

But I'm writing to ask you something. Do you know why many current erotic artists use pseudonyms instead of their real name?
