Yeah, I think you're spot on with the masquerade comment. I think the ritual of wearing masks and participating in celebratory sexual acts goes back to the Pagans even. I think mystery, or even a hint of mystery helps facilitates desire. It removes responsibility. It removes judgement. Personally I'm okay with depictions of younger characters because I'm for freedom of artistic expression, and in your case, it enables you to explore yourself in a very personal and intimate way, but I also have my own limits as a creator. It's a grey zone for me that depends on the character, the way they look, and the situation. I'd like to think I handle those type of characters well by adjusting proportions while retaining the cute, but it's a fine line sometimes.

I think its partly the old 'masquerade ball' tiny nod to anonymity/willingness to step into a role 'note oneself'. But, with the mask so small and non-obscuring, its almost like deliberately saying "Oh no, this isn't who I am at all and these are things I would never do 'wink-wink', lets barely pretend while we get crazy", if that makes sense? That's what I think anyway, but then again, I'm thinking what makes sexy as well as fun to look at. =) Speaking of Lewd, yeah, Violet is a bit too borderline/over the line for most; written plenty of self-insert fanfic of me that age or younger again as superheroes like her (some naughty) and enjoyed a bit of art I've seen, but always safer to go for 'grown-up' versions most of the time when hoping for art of the younger gals. =p And yes! Spider-Gwen just hits a super-powered sweetspot for costume awesome. I wanna buy a hoodie and do a low-key cosplay of her. =o

Yep, there's just something sexy about a mask that doesn't completely cover the face. Violet is cute, but I don't think I'm comfortable lewding her haha. And Spider-Gwen is awesome. Actually she has my favorite costume in probably all the Marvel universe. It's just super cool with that mask and hood, whoever designed it is a genius.

I kept forgetting to suggest this but how about Aisha Clan-Clan from Outlaw Star?

I heartily agree. Violet is a super fave (a bit young in the movie for most artists tho when drawn sexy/lewd), and new batgirl with the larger eye cutouts, almost full face below the skullcap 'cowl', and hair in play adds so much personality to things. Like Huntress but with that red hair flair. Its my fave look (Spider-Woman, Catwoman sometimes and the like as well) with rare things like Spider-Gwen somehow catching my eye.

Those bottom 3 are really hard choices for me. Futuba was my P5 choice, so I'm really tempted, but P5 has gotten a lot of attention, and I love Skullgirls but Ms. Fortune isn't my first choice, so I gotta go with Kissshot.
