Hot Shit High! Pg 9 & 10
Added 2016-10-13 00:05:45 +0000 UTCMarvin's hair changes yet again as I try to figure out the best technique to depict dark hair in manga... I think this looks nice. Lessons learned this time: Making space in your panel and composition for speech bubbles, and planning for length of dialog. The first page works a little better than the second, I think. I'm also proud of myself for my tricks. In the first page I was going to include an extra panel of Sharlene opening the bathroom door (after the first panel). Instead, I turned that panel into her shadow on the floor of the first panel! It's less immediate than an extra panel, but it's better use of space, and it conveys the same information.
