Samir Reference HD
Added 2022-08-19 23:57:02 +0000 UTCOk! We're finally trying to pad out Naomi's family tree some, now introducing 1x brother, Samir! Mostly created for the purposes of the currently untitled comic I'm kinda pawing around with, if not only to better establish the personality and identities of my characters, particularly Naomi!
But regarding the art... it's a Dude! I've never really drawn males before, at least not in a full body capacity (mostly just as... background features, sorry!) So I thought it was time to change that! And the results are... pretty good I guess? I think it's mostly down to my studies I did on male anatomy forever ago, somewhat helped, but I did also reference muscle anatomy drawings for the torso, upper legs, and upper arms!
Tried to mix in white elements and markings from Abby, his mother into the design, as well as the mostly brown and tan colourings that will be coming from the (currently not created father), Hakim!
