I haven't purchased it yet (quite possible I will later) but the price per page for an intro, even with the subscriber discount, seems steep. I would have expected closer to half the current cost.

The pushback you might be getting is mostly do to what you said on the tin essentially, this chapter just didn’t have much going on. It’s a setup piece, which is necessary, but I think bang for buck would be the main factor people will point out. I think future chapters will be better just because there’s more going on. You’ve already mentioned it but reevaluating price/discount would probably go a long way for folks.
