(i) This is meant to be a seamless loop.
I am not sure to which extent people actually listen to the music i've uploaded here, but some of it got a sizeable ammount of replays before i erased it. (I dont wanna, quite literally, damage your ears with my older mixes)
This track that is meant to play during the Forbidden City siege... Whatever thats gonna be, don't get your expectations sky high, because at this rate, considering i despise coding with my entire being, the best you'll see of the hypotetical "game" its gonna be a glorified powerpoint.
ive been working with music in parallel to drawing.
For the time being, now that i consider the quality of the current mix decent, and the artistic direction consistent, i will upload my music here, for the record. Using stock music is not my style, so i took a hefty 3-4 years to learn how to get somewhat decent at making my own.
You never know when youre going to die. and you dont want your artwork to be rotting away on an old hard drive.

Managing two complex skills at a somewhat competent level is not easy. Let alone a third, coding is gonna be a dantean task, even the "easier" engines are an absolute hell to use for someone whose mind does not fair well with code.
Yes, ive got humiliated by game maker. No comments on that.
I have no real experience on game deving. Ive modded games. and designed stages for them in my youth but im utterly incompetent at coding. My current plan is to get my hands on renpy and try to test how much i can push or twist the engine into making what i want.
No fucking clue how to do that.
Originally i wanted to make something like a high octane top down shooter but the narrative im going for and my lack of coding skill wont allow it. So i had to retreat into the cavern that is Vn making. Main issue is that renpy is designed to make relatively linear Narratives. And if you want something more elaborate you have to streetch the engine and , ehem, Code.
I hate this.
Words cannot describe how much i hate game deving right now, alongside coding... but i dont want my magnum opus to be done on a crappy rpg maker or a drag and drop engine.
I am uncertain if renpy is gonna be the right choice however. considering the ammmount of branching and resource management i desire to implement into the gameplay to bring my vision to life. Heck i would really like to make something of a tactical rpg but thats beyond what that engine can allow.
Perhaps godot would be better. but that one i find is even less intuitive than renpy. (And its supossed to be an easy to use engine, good heavens)
There is also, lets say, Unity holds a monopoly of all of the useful assets and toolkits, but i refuse to use it because of what it has become recently. So im virtually pinned down to two options that , frankly, fucking suck to get into. Im not gonna sugarcoat that.
Being a lone wolf artist is not easy, being someone with a vision that is larger than themselves is not easy either. ive seen others who started at the same time or even later than me already achieve economic and social media success, becoming famous on their respective circles while i keep entrenching myself in my own devotion towards my vision, sacrificing friendships, fame. followers, glory, money, food.
If this were to be an ideal world i could just pay someone. Or do networking shenanigans. But those two are far away from my reach. Besides, working with another person will compromise my artistic vision and kind of devalue my sense of personal achievement. I want to make something that is truly my own, even if i spend the rest of my days developing it.... This is why i need to make the right choice before i get my hands into learning a game engine for the following 3- 5 years until i get somewhat competent at it.
......
....Yeah.
ill think ill go for godot over renpy. vn and dating sim mechanics feel like a nice side dish, but never the main one for me. I need something more elaborate.
In the meantime ill share any assets for the project that i make here. Might still make an ep or something of a music album if no game ever comes to fruition due lack of skill/time.

A very strong beat at the start, and the shift at the 1:30 is a nice effect.
