Deleted Some Obviously Fake Pledges
Added 2017-08-03 17:07:47 +0000 UTCAbout half of the pledges ended up being fraudulent, and after my post, I got a few more. They seem to be scraping popular twitter user's profiles and using the info to make mildly believable accounts.
If I suspect something I'm going to start deleting the accounts that don't pass a quick Turing test immediately.

yeah, mainly I hate seeing their stupid faces. I don't want my goals to be scored from patrons with no intention of paying out, and I want a realistic idea of how many people are in each tier.

2017-08-03 21:58:36 +0000 UTCPatreon auto-deletes these at the end of the month, the issue is the are scraping your page once a month, they aren't fake followers. They are automated, they are using fake cc information (or stolen cc's). Without using CUF you will get new ones every month, no amount of deleting is going to help - they get your pictures the second they sign up, then they do it again next month. It's just the unfortunate side effect of doing "per update" content, you have to deal with like, 10% of your income on there being fake. Corablue has this a lot.
