Parasite Infection 2: Roadmap of Features

Hello, and if you are new, welcome!

We're putting out a roadmap of the features we'll be including in the full release of Parasite Infection 2. Each feature is tagged with [small] [medium] or [large]. We're hoping to knock out several small features or a couple medium features or one large feature per week.

Give us suggestions for what else you want to see in the game if it's not listed below! But while this game is perverse, we don't condone feature creep, so we'll be limiting how much we add to the list!

My favorite thing about this kind of game is seeing what happens when I mess with people, or when people get their own ideas once infected or infested. There's going to be a lot of work organized around characters and I'd like to share a tip about how you might handle that over time: Assign each character in the game a tier. Any person that's going to be looked at by the player. Tier 0 are primary/critical characters get the most attention and paths. After that, define how much Tier 1, 2, and so on will get in terms of content and follow that strictly. This isn't a forever thing - this is the thing that sets priorities, gets you across each character's finish line for release, and sets solid expectations for each character's breadth of content and volatility. I strongly encourage a male start as a core feature. I also recommend a lot of work right now go into the GUI and the presentation of writing and content, and how the user interacts with it. The way text and images are both displayed right now could use a lot of improvement.
