Parasite Infection 2 - Barebones Demo

The player can sprint by pressing SHIFT
The player in werm form can pick up inventory items (fluids, parasites, etc)
An inventory UI can be opened by pressing "I"
When the player is moving around the walls become semi-transparent and when entering rooms the visibility options of the room is set to the current room
The characters/NPCs can move around in a set route (there are animations, but only partial leg movement)
The NPC characters can occupy a bunk bed and have a timer on how long they stay there. The bunk bed is located in a room directly below the default starting area.
The player can pick one from up to two max characters to infest when they are sleeping (occupying a bunk bed) by pressing "F" and picking an orifice to infest.
When infesting a character the player cannot interfere in their movements (for now) and the camera is following the path of the character while the visibility of rooms/walls works the same as in werm form
While infesting a character the player can exit at any time (for now) by pressing "F"
The character's arousal bar can be increased by pressing "SPACE". This represents a system for interacting with the host while passively infesting them.
The inventory UI will display "?" if the item was not previously collected before
While opening the Inventory UI or the Infestation UI the game will pause. Cannot open both at the same time
Infested parasites gestate new parasites over time
When a new parasite is birthed after gestation ends a notification is shown in the top left corner
Added a help display by pressing "F1" shown center left

2024-07-15 03:20:25 +0000 UTCIt's a good start! How are you finding Godot to develop on? Can I ask for you to run out for Linux as well please? I managed to get the game working on Bottles, but Linux native would be amazing; just tick the box at compile time
