2.36 - Biosuit design and acceptance mechanic

Biosuits

Biosuits originally were treated like an object or a parasite, same as any other.  There was only one design, and they were 'given' to the player through extraordinary circumstances.

Then the concept of biosuit types emerged, so with each parasite there is a corresponding biosuit.

But the actual implementation was really boring.  Gameplay-wise, it was mostly just stat increases.

Biosuits have been overhauled at the design level.  Now, they are treated like 'class designators'.  Rogue, support, assault, etc.  Biosuits will now define core functionality for either the player or an NPC.  I think this is the final implementation for them.  There may be detail changes in the future, but the general concept of being a class designation tool is really good and suits them well.

Biosuits are created as larvae at the laboratory (accessible by infesting Julie and having her take you to her workplace), and need to be incubated in a womb in order to get birthed.  They must be placed in the players womb during creation.  However, it is possible to transfer the pregnancy to any infested NPC via scissoring - there's a special option in the sex menu.

werm biosuit - assault
-mass-infection options
-ability to infest with werm spawn from distance
-100% chance of forcible infestation
-multiple werm penis (what use is this?

starfish biosuit - biological/psychological warfare
-use lactation to produce psychotropic substances
-increase/decrease force/resistance
-allow instant acceptance of body changes
-stealth direct infection

Biosuit features are going to be tied into other various mechanics, some of which are not operational yet, so they aren't completely functional.

Acceptance

Acceptance has been added into the game.  When a person is infested by  a parasite, or when they have had body changes, they will have a chance to either accept or struggle with the changes.  The default is 30% to accept, and it is based on a new stat called Perversion which will rise with more infestation/infection/sex.  Some NPC's start out with different perversion values (the lesbian 18+ year old girl is maxed out at the start).  

If they build up their 'freakout score', they either head to the clinic to clean themselves or they attempt to turn you in.  I don't think turning you in is implemented yet but that's the plan for this feature.  The % chance for acceptance can be modified, and certain biosuits will be able to force people to accept their new bodies.

A really hilarious outcome emerged from this mechanic.  Suppose a low-perversion male gets gender swapped by a random parasite encounter which isn't part of the main plot, it was just collateral from you infesting other NPC's.  It is going to be possible that a person gets gender-swapped from male to female, and doesn't accept their changes, but also doesn't know that you were behind it because they are too far removed from the original infestation.  So they'll just be out there, angry, feminized, cursing the universe for randomly gender swapping them yet never able to accept their new body, and also never discovering the truth because you don't actually need to interact with them for the main plot.  It's really funny.

They were completely merged already. It was something I had to do to Julie and Gabriella before it correctly started fertilizing. It was giving the message that it was fertilizing the breast wombs but they never produced anything until I infected both of them to a certain point. Yes, they had the werm penis already. There were too many possible culprits by the time I noticed that the breasts were finally working as intended so I don't know which infection actually fixed the problem with it saying that they were fertilized and yet not producing any starfish. The counter had already hit the 30/30 count awhile before this point. Also, it looks like you lost the image link to the DD breast size Chet/Chloe in this release. It gives errors when you put a werm in your breasts but it still enlarges them. Just if ytou go to DD then the torso vanishes xD

Just fixed the infinite choker crotch thing. The next mechanic I'm working on is the behavior, which is where a lot of the problems you are experiencing are coming from. Oh also, starfish need to merge with the breasts before being able to reproduce.

The suits do not work properly, as stated in the notes. As for the choker self infest, I had to infest it twice for it to take. Not sure at the moment if I had to wait for it to merge first.

i tried to infest myself with the werm going into the choker and it has not worked, also i tried to put on the starfish biosuit but it would not show that i had it on

I didn't see the point of doing the other characters because the mechanics seem to break easily with different characters. But it is fully possible to cause characters to lock up into the go to the clinic every day. The hilarious part was it would always leave the chokers on them and in Gabriella's case it left the vaginal canal in her but anything else is removed at the end of the day. With no, clean cut means to lower their scores it becomes a bit of a mess. It showcases the structure at the least. My recommendation is to try to infect them bit by bit and get them to accept it. Certain changes cause some characters to wildly accumulate points towards getting cured though. Generally speaking its more efficient to do one parasite at a time and try to get them to accept it. Note that the mind control options don't prevent them from accumulating more dislike for the changes. Maybe once the suits function we can combat that at least. The best way to start is to focus on getting the sanctum 1st though. That way you can convert werms to other parasites before you go to tackle someone else.

I suggest you compile this as a bug list. As far as what you describes, I haven't encountered it. Hell, I even got Jessica to 100 % forceful infest chance with only being infested by 3 werms myself. Alot of things now seems to play the slow and steady pace instead of rushing. Once they are that high, fully infest them won't trigger the score system for getting themselves cured / clean room. Unless you are Steve, Steve does not like the werm. That final word, functional, tells me that the suits aren't useable just yet, and I haven't managed to wear them either.

It appears that even going 20 days will not produce a single suit. I guess that's about it for testing this release.

I just need to wait the 10 days to see if I get a suit from it now. I will point out that putting a choker on the crotch does not create a vagina there. Although I don't mind it preserving the penis too. I think its a neat option where you should lose it completely if you do the neck first but if you do the crotch first you get to keep it and still get a vagina. Well either way I noticed that Chet isn't getting an actual vagina in this build regardless of how you put the chokers on.

Another odd change in what it was and wasn't doing. It finally started producing starfish after I managed to get Julie to accept everything I put in her now. Also her numeric stats started moving again however Gabriella is still stuck on the daily fumigation. Julie is frozen at 27.2/30 though. It doesn't budge at all. Whatever the case I wanted to point out that fertilizing the breast wombs on Chet now results in successful production of starfish finally. I think a certain condition has to be tripped before it actually produces them and that's even when you have the option of being seeded there. Obviously its glitchy at this stage. I just want to try a starfish suit out and I think I'll stave off until the next release at that point.

If the starfish suit doesn't lower the resistance and increase acceptance then I'm gonna give up on exploring this current build any further. Its getting there but I can't really progress properly because a lot of the mechanics still need to be fixed so they function as intended. I do know that masturbation raises their required limits before they go for treatment but I think it breaks once they hit the threshold. You can no longer raise it at that point and it doesn't even show their stats anymore in a numeric form. They just go for treatments daily.

There are more problems than that. I'm trying to unlock the suits as an attempt to lower resistance to the changes. But its a pain to get a starfish suit since you need to stockpile werms and convert them to starfish parasites at the school sanctum. Seeding the starfish parasite wombs does not actually produce starfish anymore. I managed to get the choker working with julie and Gabriella but that's the only thing that remains after they go to the clinic daily to be purified. It doesn't remove that but it removes everything else. Oh... the breast growths require werms to go up a cup each time. Don't take it to DD because the torso vanishes on the character model to the left. I don't know whether the suits actually work yet because it didn't show the werm suit after I made one. I think the suits are just a resource sink at the moment. THey don't actually update your statistics when you make one. I'm trying to get 20 for the starfish suit. I'll try to make one to see if its all suits or just the werm suits that bug like that. It definitely doesn't say that you have a werm suit when you make one though.

Any way to actually meet Steve's parents? Linda and Brett. Bit hard to infect or infest them if Steve isn't cooperating.

I had no problems getting Chokers. After you infest them with a choker, it takes a few days before you can do much with it. It even shows a timer. The only issue I had was with Steve, he snapped =P

I still noticed that the option to put a choker on your crotch can be repeated infinitely. I 'think' that it functions otherwise. Its just weird that you can put all your chokers on your crotch. You might have to play through and test out the crotch choker part to make sure its functioning the way you wanted it to. Another thing I noticed is the fact that even when you infest their brains they will continue to build up that non-acceptance score. You can't even convince them that its good anymore. Of course its really hard to produce chokers at first. That might be another issue. Doing their necks won't produce eggs in this released. I was trying like crazy with Julie and got none for my efforts. I put a werm in her brain even and she still gradually resisted to 20 and got cured.
