Patreon declines
Added 2018-08-02 19:36:17 +0000 UTCPatreon moved their bank to the UK causing a large wave of declines for everyone.
At first I thought it was just me. So I felt like shit, because I finally finished part 1 and then boom, devastation. I held off on reacting to it for a little bit and thank god I did, because it looks like a patreon error.
Three things have been suggested:
- Contact your bank to let them know the patreon charges aren't fraudulent
- Redo your credit card info
- Change to paypal
If you want to take this as a guilt-free opportunity to end your patronage, then I thank you for your past support.
However, I just want to state for the record that I've been actually working on this game. I'm going to make a progress report fairly soon because whenever I post the game in different places, a large chunk of the responses are about how slow the development process is. Sometimes, the work is able to speak for itself. This might not be one of those times because a lot of the work is basically research and development of what should even be in a parasite game. There is no standard for this. There's no precursor - nothing like this game exists anywhere (as far as I know). So there's a lot of work to be done deciding what is even possible and what makes sense at the design level, then all the work of actually transforming that design into a game.

I use paypal, it messed me up, and I don't know what the heck is happening until your announcement...Gosh, and I just check it now. Hope I can fix it.
