Caution:
I'm working on part 2 right now because of the new mechanics recently introduced. I have no idea what horrific gamebreaking bugs may have been introduced to part 1 but I'd advise ignoring it for the time being and just skipping to part 2.
Changes:
- Added procedural male infestation/transformation code. Steve/Stacy is now completely working.
- Added another character (Todd) to see how easy it would be to add in more male characters (it's pretty freaking easy now)
- Added acceptance mechanic for male-to-female gender related changes. Talking to males about the changes eliminates the chance they will reject their new body.
- Canal parasites and lactation are working now
- Better formatting for part 2
- Changed starfish incubation and birthing rate
- Removed some unnecessary frankenstein code
Next steps:
- Get detection mechanic fully working
- Overhaul side characters and add in plotlines. Will be much easier to make deeper, more involved plots with the new mechanics and how the code is handled.

I'm making a whole module for 'defeat' this weekend. There's going to be an explanatory defeat screen for who caught you, why you were caught, etc. There's also going to be actions you can take once people are aware of you to prevent yourself getting caught. Rather than a 'lol gg try again' situation it will be a slower series of events that lead to the end of the game, with multiple places where you can intervene.

2018-05-25 00:21:18 +0000 UTCI agree. Felt like it took forever to make any headway, and suddenly *BAM* all gone. It also feels supremely unfair that every other character gets cured of their infection by "going to the clinic" but as soon as someone notices you're infected, it's off to Area 51. Like weird sexual parasites in everyone else is just "Eh, another Tuesday" but in us alone it's "ALIENS??!!?!" Maybe have a few "cure" strikes for the PC? Like, if you're discovered, it's off to the clinic with you a couple times, then eventually a "Wait, you're the source of this! To Area 51 with you!" kinda deal?

Not sure on the exact details yet but it's going to be a whole thing involving who has seen what, for how long, and whether they have the courage to do something about it. I want to create a situation where someone discovers you, and then a sequence of events happens where they end up getting infested anyway because 'reasons' so they are aware it's happening but can't stop it.

It's frustrating to save constantly during the infestation period to avoid having to reply large chunks of the game. Maybe have the option to restart the day when you get a game over like that?
