Future goals beyond Twine

Have you ever played the flash game Pandemic? It's pretty old, although you might be more familiar with the board game version of it. I recently came across it randomly, and now this is happening:

Chapter 7 is going to involve a clone of Pandemic, so that should be good depending on how well I can execute it. The game will probably end at chapter 10.
Beyond the Twine game, I've wanted to create a multiplayer game. One with mechanics where you can take over another players character, or hide in another players body without them knowing until the time is right to assimilate them. It's going to be similar to The Ship, if any of you have heard of that game, except in space. I'd also compare it to Natural Selection.I was looking around and found this game engine:

I think that should work for the goals I'm looking to fulfill. Furthermore, I think I can finally start creating some real rewards for higher tier donors. I can make cosmetics for the game which are only given out to higher donors, which in my mind gives value and doesn't feel like a "fuck you" to lower tier donors. I promised to give out stuff to the early adopters and higher donors and it's weighed on me that I haven't given anything tangible yet.The next step up from a 2d multiplayer game is a 3d multiplayer game using VR technology. I think there could be some really immersive experiences attainable by using VR with the parasite concept.
So that's the roadmap at this point. If I didn't see a path toward something really spectacular, I wouldn't be spending time on this.
