For a pretty extensive explanation of the pitfalls of NFTs, cryptocurrency, and block chain, watch "Line Goes Up" on YouTube. https://youtu.be/YQ_xWvX1n9g It's over 2 hours, admittedly some of the technical content was over my head, but it did a fair job of pointing out the theoretical benefits of those platforms, but explain why human greed and deceit have rendered them practically useless. Alas, a few of us have ruined it for the rest of us. Specifically the explanation about how groups that start an NFT scheme, don't really have a business plan when they begin. All the details are to be hammered out later, AFTER they've raised all the money. Makes it sound democratic and crowd sourced, but is really, at best naive, at worst pure scam. I wonder if the Doctors who signed on to the DocNFT idea were clear on the contract they may have signed on to. If their NFT was for a quick little "consultation" call, did they realize that each buyer would be able to get their time with the doctor, but then sell the NFT to, possibly, hundreds of other people who would get their 30 minute meeting too? Did the Doctors realize that this could be hundreds of hours of commitment that they sold for ~$500?!? π€
