Agreed, so much variable. Myself, I can not and will not eat in a high stress environment. If I try my stomach is hating and regretting the effort. I think looking at cultures who take a lot of pride in maintaining a set eating schedule really make that case. Other cultures by necessity have a very inconsistent schedule, idk about putting my knickle down on cause and effect, just guesses.

2019-02-12 03:21:24 +0000 UTCI agree with William, that Anne was not talking about Mindful Eating. Also, Cara seemed to emphasize the importance and benefits of mindful eating, but I am skeptical. (Shocker, I know.) It sounds like California “woo” to me. I wonder if Cara would do a deep dive into the science of mindful eating to see if there really are demonstrable benefits?
