You will get charged at the moment you make a pledge, and then again on the same day of the next month (if you don't cancel before that day).
Patrons who pledged before the switch to the new system will continue to be charged on the 1st of the month. (26th or 27th of September 2022, depending on your time zone)
Don't pledge through the patreon app, if you're using an iOS/Apple mobile device, unless you specifically want to donate Apple money! It is cheaper to pledge through the web page!

Accessing my patreon content requires Discord!

If you did not get added to the server at all, after being certain you followed the instructions in the above link:
First, make sure you're not on iOS! If you are, see the "iOS users" section below.
1. Create a fresh new Discord account
2. Connect that account with Patreon
3. Log on to Discord with that new account
There might be other fixes to this issue, but this is the simplest one that has been working for everyone who tried it so far, to my knowledge at least.
For issues with not receiving a Role (you're on the server, but can't see the paid channels), see the Troubleshooting section near the bottom of this post, above the FAQ section.

iOS users:
Discord has blocked NSFW servers for all iOS users by default. To disable the block, you'll need to log on to discord on a desktop device or a non iOS mobile device, and change the "allow access to age-restricted servers on iOS" to active, the option can be found under the "privacy & safety" settings!
After connecting your accounts:
Simply go to https://discord.com/ and log in with the account you just connected with Patreon. You should now be in my server, and have access to all the paywalled channels.
Paid content channels:

Discord Troubleshooting:
Potential fixes to issues getting on Discord, or fixing your server role, despite connecting your accounts:
Note, that the server invite should be almost instant AFTER you've linked your discord account with your patreon account (can take a few minutes). If you don't see the server within an hour, something is probably wrong. Usually to fix this issue you need to create an entirely new Discord account.
Make sure you log in on Discord with the account you connected with Patreon
Refresh your tier (Change to a lower tier, and then re-select the tier you were in the first place, this does not incur any extra charges, as long as you don't change to a more expensive tier)
Disconnect your patreon from your discord account, then connect it again
The above two alone should do the trick, but if they didn't, try again, but first also leave the server. But most are able to fix the issue with just a tier refresh.
If you're an iOS user, check the iOS users section above, by default, you can't join an nsfw server with an apple mobile device, unless you've turned off the appropriate setting on discord.
During the first days of the month, the bot can be a bit unreliable, so if you can't get it working on the 1st or the 2nd of the month, try again a bit later!
If none of the above work, you could be in the server's ban list. The only bans given so far have been due to users getting their discord account hacked, and turned into a spambot. Contact me, if you think this is the case, and I can see to getting the ban lifted, after you've made sure you have control over your account again!
If even the above isn't the case, it's possible you've been shadow banned from discord entirely (or something similar). Try creating a new Discord account and connecting that, to see if that fixes your issue even if you believe that is not the case. If you're already on the server, and just missing roles and access to correct channels, you probably aren't banned, and in that case, try repeating the earlier connection/tier refresh steps again instead. This issue has become more common in the last few months. To my knowledge, creating a new account has so far always fixed this issue, so please don't dismiss it, even if you are already on some other servers. The issue is related to joining new servers specifically.
FAQ:
Why do I need to use Discord to access your content?
There are several reasons. I won't go into specifics here, but essentially my options are either to use Discord, or not to use patreon at all. If you are curious about said reasons, feel free to ask me directly in private.
My Subscribestar Adult page also has access to discord, but you can get the content links directly from there, without needing discord, if you don't wish to use it. My name is Eskoz on Subscribestar Adult as well.
When will the next project release!?
I can not, and will not give exact release estimates, until I'm reasonably confident, that I can keep to said estimate within a margin of error of 1 week or so.

You need to be either a patron of my Patreon, or a subscriber on my Subscribestar Adult profile.

Why not send links with e-mails instead of using Discord?
I used to do this, but there was too much room for error, that I could have accidentally leaked all the e-mail in the mailing list due to human error. Not to mention security issues, where the mailing list could have been visible to some recipients, depending on the mail service they use.
It was also a constant source of confusion for patrons, who subscribed to the wrong tier, since it needed to be opt-in, due to the above mentioned security issues.
Additionally, it was not optimal for the users who joined during the middle of the month.

You can't join NSFW servers on an iOS device, unless this setting is enabled. 2. If you're not on iOS and can't join despite reconnecting, and refreshing your tier, the usual fix is an entirely new, fresh discord account. If there's something wrong with the account itself, a manual invite won't help, most of the time.

It's a time sink, and due to how inconvenient it is to many, I'm sure it costs me subscribers as well. I would not use it, if I had another option. If you do not wish to use discord. I have a subscribestar page, where content is posted directly.

However, if you're not getting added to the server, this invite is unlikely to work either, and instead you'll need to create a new discord account instead, as mentioned in the instruction, or try to solve any potential issues with discord support. But the former is faster.

You don't currently seems to have the correct role though, so to access the paid channels, assuming you already didn't do so, refreshing your tier should fix any issues with missing roles (see the troubleshooting section of this post, if unsure how to do so). If you can't get it working for any reason, feel free to DM me on discord.

I sent you a message with a manual invite link, but other than that there's not much I can think of to fix the problem. Do make sure you have the nsfw setting toggled if you use iOS. Although that needs to be toggled through a non-iOS device.

If you didn't for some reason, please see the troubleshooting section in the above post, although looking at your account info this is the most likely fix for your problem: 1. Create a fresh new Discord account 2. Connect that account with Patreon 3. Log on to Discord with that new account

But in general, if you're having trouble receiving an invite, it means something is going on with your discord account, and the only fix I am aware of right now, is that you need to create a brand new discord account, and connect that with patreon. But you can first try the manual link, I sent you as a private message.

Although the bot does tend to have some issues during the first couple days of the month. Although usually those have been dealt with by the 3rd. But other than that, I'd try breaking the connection between the two apps again tomorrow, and then reconnecting it again. If you tried back on the first day, it's likely just the bot being overwhelmed due to patreon's way of handling thins.
