You wake up the morning after a failed escape attempt. All that talk about how horrible the Giantess' father can be certainly persuaded you not to attempt escaping again. And besides, it's not like life is horrible here in the castle. You don't have to worry about food or shelter, and there's no boring job taking up most of your day either.
Or at least there wasn't, because she certainly is up to something. And you have a feeling it's going to involve a lot of hard work on your part. On the bright side, at least she isn't intentionally and needlessly cruel.
