Patreon Tier Changes coming Jan. 1, 2025
Added 2024-12-14 14:00:10 +0000 UTCStarting January 1, 2025, the following changes will occur to my membership tiers. There will be no price increases at this time.
It is well known that too many tiers causes confusion, too much overlap, and difficulty in separating rewards. I am also retooling some rewards to better reflect membership prices and numbers:
$1.75 Viewer — This tier is going away. The last day to join is December 30, 2024. Current members will remain in this tier for up to 1 month until January 31, 2025, at that time, the tier will be deleted. No more access to this tier will be available after that time. If you let your membership lapse after Dec 31., you won't be able to re-join.
Please keep this in mind should you renew after Jan 1st, as you may not get a full month's membership (ex.: renewing Jan 15th, and membership ends Jan 31st).
$3 Follower — Starting January 1, 2025, this tier will allow ONE entry into the Patreon Art Contests, meaning either TIER 2 (Watercolor) or TIER 1 (Themed), but not both.
$20 Zealot — Change to the coupon code amount for new/rejoining tier members. The coupon code for members joining this tier after December 31, 2024 will be $4 instead of $5 per month.
Members in and remaining in this tier as of Dec 31, 2024 will still get the $5 coupon code for now. (There is no date currently that this will change, and I hope not to do so for my long-time supporters.)
Note: Should you leave the tier, and rejoin after Dec 31st, 2024, you will join the tier with the $4 coupon code, as the old tier will be unpublished, but remain in effect.
Tiers $5 Admirer, $7 Supporter, and $11 Fanatic will not have any changes made on this date.
