First Animation Experiment

I dove back into exploring 2D animation using Moho, as I had hoped to do way back in January 2024 before the shit hit the fan. This past weekend, I re-learned the app by watching numerous training videos and working on exercise files.
I then decided to try out the newly learned basic skills* to create this short video of the April 2024 mOnthly grOw illustration. (*I have so much more to learn, memorize, and apply.)
I learned that an image like this is a little difficult to rig for animation after-the-fact. Limbs should normally be posed in a neutral position, rigged to bones, and then posed and animated. By having some limbs already bent/posed, the bone rigging doesn't always work as intended (which some "errors" in this video can attest to).

With some free, roughly-edited sound clips, I added some moans and body slaps. Not the best, but it's a 1st for me! :-)
What do you think of this first attempt?

2024-10-14 18:36:02 +0000 UTCIt’s an excellent first try, and from what you said you’ve already learned more just by doing it. I have a feeling sound may be harder to do than the animations.
