WIPs for Zoolympics Boxing (+Alternate Sketch and Color!)
Added 2021-09-13 22:01:00 +0000 UTCThis was originally drawn back in September of 2016, shortly after the Rio Olympics! It was meant to poke fun at the nature of boxing judges being bought out and rigging matches, which unfortunately the Olympics has a history of. Rio was no exception. ^^;
The first images were my first pass for it. I meant for it to be a quick doodle (hence the sketch lines and rough shading), but I was liking the idea too much to just leave it at that, so I decided to come back to it and add ink lines and proper coloring. I also changed the bear's pose to look indignant rather than confused, and the referee lifting up the fox to add to help it feel more comedic. :3
I've also added the original art for the Zoolympics logo. It was inspired by Rio's colors, and was meant to look like that on the boxing mat, but I decided white looked better, and that's how the Olympic logo looked on the boxing mat anyway!
