WIPs for Little Runt (Page 69)

The dialogue was a bit of a struggle on this page. Nes had to say something, but it never felt quite right. Either he was repeating something that's already been said, saying something obvious, or it didn't feel natural. What these WIPs don't capture is all the rewriting I did in the text tool instead of in the sketch.
In the end, I found something that worked: I had to focus more on what Nes feeling guilty, and deciding to change. That's what his character arc, and this scene, is all about after all!
