This watercolor's concept comes from Glenn G., who entered this idea into the July'24 Themed (Watercolor) Patreon Art Contest.
Patron requests included: a more hunched over pose than original rough concept; hair and eye color; and glasses. In a last-minute bit of inspiration, I made the popped button hit the mirror and crack it — which patron approved.
A 30’s-ish woman in a typically small clothing store changing room is staring in shock into a full-length mirror as the top she’s trying on doesn’t fit so well over her growing breasts (size 7). Her blouse shows rips in seams and a button pop.*
