Streaming Update

Hey everyone!

I'm looking to get into streaming soon. A bunch of my friends already do, and I've been wanting to get a new hobby that doesn't involve drawing. I figure it could be a lot of fun, and it'll help me work on my speaking/improv skills, and get me to break out of my shell a bit!

When will I be starting?

Probably the first week of May! Although I might do some test streams sooner. I don't plan on having a schedule, but I'll give warnings when I plan on streaming! 

What will I be streaming?

A variety of things! Mostly not art because I want this to be a hobby not related to art, but I will stream art sometimes! I have a lot of cool ideas planned - you'll see!

Where will I be streaming?

On Twitch! Friends and streamers I watch use it, so it feels like home to me.

Will I have a VTuber character?

I don't have a webcam so I won't have a FaceRig 2DLive character set up. For now, I have something worked out with Discord Streamkit that will display a character and have it change based on whether I'm talking or not. I'll be using animated gifs for it so it'll blink, look around, and move it's mouth whether I'm speaking or not! I'll explore something more advanced in the future.

Who will the VTuber character be?

I've been debating whether to use my namesake Tem, or Ryan. Tem is more "me," but I'm worried he isn't very recognizable. I'm considering using Ryan instead since he has a stronger silhouette/design and would probably stream himself, haha. However, I had a friend suggest I use Tem for art stuff, and Ryan for game stuff, so maybe I'll do that instead!

Will there be any benefits for Patrons?

Definitely! That'll have to be something I figure out as I go along. The main idea I have right now is to make my top patrons VIPs in chat. :3
