Would it be easier to do YCH bids per character, or the way I did it?

Since all the characters are relatively equal in detail, I was afraid someone might miss out because they were unlucky and went for the wrong character, so I made it so the three highest bidders win a character, rather than bidding on a specific character.
Would you guys prefer I change it so you're bidding on a specific character? A, B, or C?
I'm not used to doing YCH stuff and I don't want things to be unfair or confusing, haha.
