[Production Session 05] 90s Ambient DnB with JD-990
Added 2024-06-22 16:57:13 +0000 UTCRaw (no narration) studio session laying down some synths + bass over a beat - in the style of PFM. All synth sounds from the JD-990, and some outboard FX (Quadraverb / Zoomstudio.) The JD-990 crashed near the end as I was honing in on a decent lead sound (needs a new battery, thankfully nothing serious)
These can be a lot to watch through - but the main thing I want to get across is making music can be difficult. We don't always know where we're going exactly. Experiment, try many things fast, and try to create consistency

Thanks mate! I take the sound output from the rack gear and feed it into the inputs on my audio interface - which goes directly into a track on my DAW. Use a Motu Midi Express to control all my synths via midi
