Message to Patreon Supporters

Hi everyone, just a quick early message about what’s coming up at the end of the year.

Our final episode of 2025 for premium subscribers drops on October 25. After that, we’ll be taking a pause in our release schedule until the new year.

In the meantime, if you’d like to put your subscription on hold or cancel it, you’re of course welcome to.

That’s why we’re sharing this message early, so you can plan accordingly.

If you choose to keep it rolling, however, please know that your support is hugely appreciated.

We are constantly striving to make episodes better and improve what we do, and you make that possible.

Thank you, truly, for sticking with us.

I only just joined, but have been listening for years and years. I'm quite happy to browse the archive; I've listened to the first 100 episodes at least twice and many of them more than that. What I loved about early episodes was the Australian focus on cases I hadn't heard about, and the compassion with not only the victim but the background of the perpetrator: often damaged and abused. It really gave a well-rounded perspective without lessening sympathy and care for the victim. Casefile is one of the very few true crime podcast I will search up earlier episodes if I come across the case on any of the other podcasts I'm subscribed to. The calm focus and detail have made Casefile unique: the voice combines with clearly laid out facts within a story framework to create something really special. While I always miss the podcast when you're on sabbatical, I look forward to the new year and new season. Thank you.

I stopped listening to the show because I want to save the episodes for later during your break.

Will the final episode be new or old?
