Behind the Files

Hello Patreon. The team is ready to record another episode of Behind the Files. This episode will cover Case 241: Harry and Nicola Fuller, Case 242: The Investor Murders, Case 243: Deidre Kennedy and Case 244: Engla Höglund & Pernilla Hellgren. If you have any questions, you can put them in the comments below!

For all cases, I ask the following: 1. What made you want to cover this case over others? 2. What was the most difficult aspect of covering this case? 3. How long did it take to research this case and then writing it? Case 241: Is there a specific reason why you chose to tell the story in a chronological way? I re-listened to the episode to write questions, and I completely forgot about the ouija board scandal during the trial. Case 242: Do you believe John Peel was responsible and got away with murder? Why, or why not? Also, do you think it is possible two people committed the murders? There were too many people in that boat for one person to overpower. What if two persons orchestrated the crime, then the male suspect killed his partner before setting the boat on fire? Case 243: Were there additional details to this story that you left out due to its gruesome nature? Do you believe that Raymond John Carrol was responsible for the murder of baby Deidre? Do you think the murder and the burglary and theft of her remains are connected? Case 244: I found it interesting this was a short Patreon-pick episode. Was there any reason why the run time ended up so short?

I would love to know what you all think actually happened on The Investor!

Case 243: In the original murder trial, prosecutors weren’t allowed to use the evidence of the Air Force women’s barracks against Raymond. Is it known if he ever served time for it though? Also: it was stated there were no witnesses to corroborate whether Raymond was home at the time of Deirdre’s murder. If he was staying at home, wouldn’t his mother or siblings be able to provide that evidence?

My question kind of covers all three cases! I noticed that all three cases occurred at or very close to the victims’ residences. Is the general population more likely to be attacked/targeted at or near their homes? Or am I tunnel visioning the exceptional cases that get covered by crime podcasts?
