The change.org petition started by Renae Marsden's family to criminalise catfishing is just 700 signatures shy of the 15k goal. Renae's story was recently covered on Case 238 of Casefile and the petition was mentioned in the episode. Thank you for posting this and I hope the Marsden’s are successful in changing the legislation. If I ever hear or see a petition for Canada, I’ll sign it right away.
