2022-08-25 18:57:08 +0000 UTCWas wondering if you have done an ancestry DNA test. If so, did you find out a bit more about your ancestral background, were there any surprising revelations? I think in the last Q&A there was talk about DNA and what the future implications could be. Besides privacy concerns, one of the things that I find simultaneously fascinating and scary is that potential serious illnesses could be accurately diagnosed in advance, but then would that be opening Pandora's box and reveal something that you wished you hadn't found out?

What are some factors that play a part in this decision? What percentage of cases looked into end up being discarded? Thanks for the outstanding episodes!
