Listening to this now. Elsha (sp?) says that she doesn't understand why "Felix" wasn't followed up as a suspect. You are missing some info here. By all appearances the police were instructed by the justice department to not follow up on him. Because he was an immigrant and this was an election year, and the government didn't want any focus on violent crimes against children committed by immigrants. They were afraid the opposition would "exploit" the case. As soon as the election was over there was no more government interest in the case. I wish I was joking.
