I live in NZ and originally I came from Czech Republic. I wonder how many non Aussies are subscribers. It’s great to hear both know and unknown cases. I must say this is one of the best crime podcasts out there.

2021-11-01 02:36:41 +0000 UTCI too would love to hear more about the Cindy James case.

2021-10-31 17:49:57 +0000 UTCReally? I'm a true crime nerd in AU and had never heard of it! Can't expect these guys to deliver cases that nobody knows every time ... also remember Australia is not the only country

2021-10-30 00:58:37 +0000 UTCListening to case Case 186 reminded me of the Cindy James case, due to investigators postulating that the alleged victim may have fabricated the "crimes" and even gone as far as harming their own self. I don’t understand behavior like that, what could be the reason or motivation for somebody to spend so much time and effort to convince the police they are being victimized. What could be their end goal? It is sometimes unclear or irrational. What made you decide to cover this specific case? Did you have any resistance from living people involved with this case?

2021-10-28 01:33:37 +0000 UTCIt's very common for survivors of Traumatic Brain Injury to have irrational behaviors and complete personality changes. That poor woman.

2021-10-27 23:56:16 +0000 UTCI just saw that too. The link is (about 25sec in) https://youtu.be/EqyAYHGyErk I love that he did actually name Casefile too when talking about it.

2021-10-27 10:37:22 +0000 UTCJoanne I might have missed something but why are you angry with the casefile people and cancelling the subscription just because of whiney subscribers?

2021-10-27 07:15:52 +0000 UTCDo you think there are any red herrings in the Robert Wone case? There are so many things about it that don't make sense. Even the long timeline of closer to 80 minutes seems a short amount of time to accomplish the clean up performed. I find the intruder theory ridiculous, but the roommate scenarios are also so bizarre. They wiped him down but left his own semen somehow? I feel that there must be aspects to this case we don't know and that some things we do know are actually irrelevant to the murder. Thanks for covering this one - it's always stuck with me because it's so strange.

2021-10-26 18:39:46 +0000 UTCFor the Robert Wone case: do you guys believe he was intentionally murdered or was it a case of him being drugged and abused and things accidentally went too far?

2021-10-25 14:29:46 +0000 UTCFor the Bowraville Murders, it seems that the victims' families really do meet all the requirements to bring Jay back to court. Is there anything further that can be done to push their case forward? Can continued media attention or petitions help? On a general note, did the Casefile team see Steve Martin talk about binging the podcast during the pandemic when he was on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and, if so, how did it feel to have a comedian telling everyone about the podcast?

2021-10-25 13:22:43 +0000 UTCOn the Bowraville Murders, not much of a question but pure anger as to why Jay Hart hasn’t charged for these murders. Why was his re-trial acquitted from old evidence that wasn’t considered ‘fresh’? Why doesn’t so much coincidental evidence pointing to one person have them properly trialled and convicted. I grew up in a community in the NT and have alot of respect for our indigenous people and culture they share with us. This one hit home and got under my skin how police disrespected cultural habits for reasons of absence ❤️ RIP Coleen, Evelyn and Clinton 🖤💛❤️

2021-10-25 12:14:46 +0000 UTCI don’t have a question just thanks for all the great content and the Joanne chambers case still blows my mind, saw it years ago on an episode of forensic files. Crazy story

2021-10-25 10:14:20 +0000 UTCOr could it be a mother/father reason? Is Joan as the mother more willing to ignore the obvious whereas Hann is more realistic about the events and accepting of his child's guilt?

2021-10-25 06:45:13 +0000 UTCThe Porco case is very similar to Jennifer Pan, which you previously covered, even up to one parent surviving the attack. One main difference is Joan Porco still supporting her child, while Hann Pan doesn't. What causes the perception difference between the two survivors? Being confronted with the evidence herself, it is interesting that Joan still thinks Chris is innocent.

2021-10-25 06:05:52 +0000 UTCI'm just guessing here but I wouldn't be surprised if Casefile has more listeners outside of Oz. Like the US perhaps. Every Casefile social media group complains if Casefile does a US story and now you complain that Casefile is doing Oz stories. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ I thought Americans were nuts but I see you guys are just as whiney. Please cancel my Patreon subscription.

2021-10-25 00:09:06 +0000 UTCHi team. Just curious why you selected the JoAnne Chambers case? It is very well known, particularly in Oz, and I found myself pre-empting what the host was going to say next. Mark
