Q&A January 2021

Our first AMA in 2021, thank you for the questions!

Q&A January 2021

Comments

Thank you Amy. Very much appreciated. As we have new patrons coming and going all the time it does mean there will be repeat questions at times. But that's very impressive you can answer before Casey :)

Casefile True Crime

I listen to all the extras! I think the only thing that would make the Q&As better would be if the "repeat" questions stopped ... sometimes I find myself answering the questions before Casey does. 😂But other than that ... I love the Q&As! Please don't stop!

Amy McCoubrey

Thank you Chris. We will do a post here on Patreon announcing the Q&A, and all you have to do is write your question in the comments. Next announcement will be in the next week or so.

Casefile True Crime

Thank you Pegi.

Casefile True Crime

I love the Q&A’s, and behind the scenes! I’m sure if I looked into it I could find the answer myself, but how can I find out when to submit questions fir the Q&A’s? Thanks for all your hard work!

Chris Harfield

Always listen when I get the chance to give it my full attention!!looking forward to the 3 part episode too✅

Pegi Miskey

Excellent, thank you Pansy Pan.

Casefile True Crime

I love the AMAs. Listen to them every time, it’s a like a wee look into your lives, but also have a deeper insight into how the podcast is created and how everyone ended up working within Casefiles!

Pansy Pan

Thank you Captain Flint, that could be a possibility!

Casefile True Crime

Good idea Stefan, something we can consider for sure.

Casefile True Crime

Great to hear, thank you Celine.

Casefile True Crime

Excellent, thank you Megan.

Casefile True Crime

Thank you Amber, we will do!

Casefile True Crime

Hi Liv, thank you very much! Very good to hear. And that's awesome, Agnostic Front and Madball! Two bands I've heard of many times over the years, but as I was too obsessed with the CA 90's skate punk scene, never really got into. But I was actually just playing some tracks from both bands when I saw your comment, and I should have been listening more! Because I loved what I heard.

Casefile True Crime

All the time Sean!

Casefile True Crime

Thanks for answering my question! Look forward to the three parter! Also regarding the Q&A's I really enjoy them so hopefully they will continue. I think it would be interesting if you were able to get a detective from one of the cases (maybe an unsolved one) and then Patreon's would be able to ask them questions about the case/theories.

Captain Flint

I love the Q and As, as well as Behind the Files. Maybe a theme with the Q & As, or a special guest. Like with Eileen with the Dark Web or Vikki as a crime writer. A detective from a case even? A detective from one of the cases you covered? If it’s a significant guest you could always put it on the public RSS feed as long as we get to ask the Qs 😉

Stefan Bradley

I do love the AMAs! Some questions I have, other people are asking. Always learning important information.

Celine

I enjoy the AMAs. It’s nice to hear about the Casefile team as people and also about how things come together for an episode.

Megan

I love the Q&As!! Hearing you guys talk informally about your thoughts on cases and non-crime stuff is always fun. Please keep doing them!

Amber

Casey, in response to your question, I love the Q and A, I believe it creates a more personal relationship between the Casefile team and fans. I think it benefits both team and fans to have that real connection, something positive and human in our very digital world. I love the music questions too, something that unite people on other levels that just the true crime stories. I love the punk rock discussions. My husband used to play in Agnostic Front late 80s early 90s and then Madball, back in CBGBs days, it was a raw and creative scene, lots of amazing bands and crazy real people. Would love to hear if you have any favorites from the “old” NY punk/hardcore scene? Thank you for your efforts to connect with your fans, it does matter, and it does makes a difference!

Liv Sorli

Sitting here listening to the question, "which case has been more taxing" I'm wondering if anyone e on your team has found themselves wanting to pull some threads just to see where they might go or if anything other info can come of it?

Sean Boulden

A 3 parter?? Those multi-parters are my favorite! ❤️ And fuck yeah, spin some Distillers!
