Their home was part of a row of matching terraced buildings overlooking a busy thoroughfare, interspersed with patisseries, bars, and other businesses.

I think this is my #1 favorite episode, I have re-listened to it more than 10 times. Something about family annihilated crimes is chilling to the bone. Formerly, the Beth Barnard episode was my most listened but now it’s a whole series so this is #1

What’s also interesting to see is yet another example where the remaining extended family will adopt such incredible self delusion to hang on to their beliefs that said suspect is a good innocent person and it’s some crazy conspiracy. Especially parents - seems they do it the most if it’s their kid who is the murderer. Must be too painful to accept the reality.
